Zero Tolerance Policy
Applicable to all driver-partners of Carry Goods Transit. Ensuring safety, service quality, and professionalism for all partners and customers.
As part of our unwavering commitment to safety, service quality, and professionalism, Carry Goods Transit maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy towards certain prohibited activities. This policy is applicable to all driver-partners ("You") engaged with Carry Goods Transit, including any affiliates or contractors associated with our services.
This policy is intended to ensure a safe working environment for our customers, partners, and employees, and must be strictly adhered to during the performance of services.
1. Prohibited Conduct
Carry Goods Transit has zero tolerance towards the following actions, including but not limited to:
- Violation of any applicable law or government regulation.
- Breach of the terms and conditions, or company policies applicable to your role or services.
- Fraudulent, suspicious, or mala fide activity during transportation of goods.
- Loss, damage, or destruction of goods, if caused due to your direct negligence or violation of this policy.
- Use, possession, or influence of alcohol, drugs, or prohibited substances during duty hours or while representing Carry Goods Transit in any capacity.
2. Specific Prohibitions While On Duty
warningYou are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following activities while at any Carry Goods Transit office, customer location, in-transit, or during pickup/delivery tasks:
i. Using, possessing, buying, selling, or distributing:
- Alcohol
- Illegal or prohibited drugs (including those under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985)
- Tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, hookah, nicotine, vape, etc.)
- Any related substances or paraphernalia
Being Under Influence
Being under the influence of alcohol or any drugs/substances mentioned above is strictly forbidden.
Possession During Duty
Possessing or consuming any prohibited substances during working hours, including vehicle loading/unloading and customer interaction.
3. Compliance and Consequences
- Presence of any detectable amount of alcohol, narcotics, or prohibited substances in your system while on duty is strictly forbidden.
- You may be subjected to testing or inspection based on reasonable suspicion or visual indicators of use, impairment, or possession. Testing may include physical search, breathalyzer, or third-party verification, after prior notification.
- Non-compliance or confirmed violations will lead to immediate action, including but not limited to:
- Debarment from the Carry Goods Transit platform
- Delisting as a driver-partner
- Reporting to relevant regulatory or law enforcement authorities
Carry Goods Transit's decision in such matters shall be final and binding.
4. Reporting a Violation
Customers, partners, or team members can report violations of this policy by reaching out to us. All complaints will be reviewed confidentially and appropriate action will be taken based on findings.
5. Declaration
By operating as a driver-partner with Carry Goods Transit, you confirm and accept this Zero Tolerance Policy and agree to remain compliant at all times during your association.
