Carry Goods Transit – Customer Terms and Conditions
Tragen Delivery and Logistics Pvt. Ltd., operating under the brand name Carry Goods Transit, is engaged in the business of providing goods transportation and logistics services by road, through mobile applications and digital platforms.
General Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the services provided by Carry Goods Transit to any individual or entity ("Customer", "Consignor" or "Sender", as applicable) who avails of the company's logistics and transportation services.
By accepting these terms during booking or by continuing to use the Carry Goods Transit mobile application or website, the Customer agrees to be legally bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Scope of Services
These terms apply to services currently offered by Carry Goods Transit, including:
- Goods Transportation by Road
- Intercity Courier Services
- Packers and Movers Services (if applicable)
2. Acceptance of Terms
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that by accessing the Carry Goods Transit platform, placing a booking, or handing over a consignment, they are accepting these terms and conditions in full.
If the Customer does not agree to the terms, they must discontinue use of the Carry Goods Transit services and uninstall the app.
3. Ownership and Authority
The Customer confirms that all consignments handed over to Carry Goods Transit are either owned by them or are in their lawful possession or control. The Customer warrants that they have full authority to send such consignments and agrees to indemnify Carry Goods Transit against any third-party claims arising from lack of authority or breach of this warranty.
4. Amendment of Terms
Carry Goods Transit reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time at its sole discretion. Customers are encouraged to review these terms periodically. Continued use of the services after such changes will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
5. Taxes and Compliance
All services provided by Carry Goods Transit are subject to applicable taxes, fees, duties, and other statutory charges as per prevailing laws. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws. Such applicable charges will be reflected in the invoice issued by Carry Goods Transit.
6. Service-Specific Terms
In addition to these general terms, Customers availing specific services (e.g., intercity courier, packers and movers) will also be bound by the relevant service-specific terms and policies issued by Carry Goods Transit.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Carry Goods Transit Customer Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Subject to the mediation clause below, all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Guwahati, Assam.
If a dispute arises between the Customer and Carry Goods Transit that cannot be resolved amicably within 30 (thirty) days, the matter may be referred to mediation in accordance with the applicable rules before a recognized mediation centre in Assam. A neutral mediator will be appointed to facilitate the process. The parties involved agree to maintain confidentiality throughout the mediation unless disclosure is required under applicable law.
Claims, Refunds & Liability Policy
1. Claim Filing Procedure
All claims related to damage, loss, theft, or negligence must be submitted in writing within 24 (twenty-four) hours from the time of delivery.
- For Packers and Movers services, claims must be emailed to: support@carrygoods.in
- For Goods Transport services, claims must be emailed to: support@carrygoods.in
Claims must include:
- Clear photographs of damaged goods (and packaging, in the case of Packers and Movers)
- Description of the nature and extent of damage
Claims submitted after the stipulated 24-hour period shall not be processed.
2. Verification & Identity
To claim a refund or compensation:
- The claimant must be the original Consignor/Customer.
- Carry Goods may require supporting documents to verify the identity.
- If identity verification fails, the claim will not be processed.
3. Liability Limits

| Truck Delivery | Freight amount paid, up to ₹3,000 or value of goods, whichever is lower |
| Packers and Movers | Single-layer packaging: Up to ₹1,000 or value of goods, whichever is lower Multi-layer packaging: Up to ₹3,000 or value of goods, whichever is lower |
4. Insurance Requirements
The Customer is advised to opt for additional insurance coverage at their own expense, especially in the following cases:
- Goods valued over ₹1,000 for two-wheeler delivery
- Goods valued over ₹3,000 for three/four-wheeler delivery
Carry Goods Transit will not be liable for damage exceeding these thresholds unless insurance has been purchased by the Consignor/Customer.
5. Service Time & Delays
- Pickup and delivery times are estimates only.
- Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Carry Goods Transit shall not be liable for any loss due to such delays.
6-15. Additional Policy Sections
Additional terms include responsibility to declare goods, reverse & void liability, limitation of liability, refund processing timeline, GST & reverse charge mechanism, additional information requests, access suspension, CG wallet & pure agent relationship, cash on delivery terms, and cancellation policy.
Goods Transport by Road – Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the Goods Transport services provided by Carry Goods Transit, which may involve the use of two-wheelers, three-wheelers, or four-wheelers. By booking a consignment with Carry Goods Transit, the Consignor acknowledges and agrees to these terms and any additional policies communicated by Carry Goods Transit from time to time.
1. Packaging Guidelines
The Consignor is required to ensure proper packaging of goods to avoid damage during transit. Please follow the below instructions:
- Cover the goods completely and seal the ends with strong tape.
- Use bubble wrap for fragile items, ensuring corners and edges are well protected.
- Secure shifting items with stretch wrap.
- Fill box voids with crumpled paper or cushioning; use padding at the base for fragile goods.
- Seal packages using pressure-sensitive or water-activated packing tape.
- Do not use string or rope instead of tape.
Important: Sending fragile items via Carry Goods Transit is at the Consignor's own risk. Carry Goods Transit shall not be liable for any damage resulting from inadequate or improper packaging by the Consignor.
6. Prohibited & Restricted Items
The Consignor shall not send the following items through Carry Goods Transit:
- Pornographic content
- Human remains, organs, body parts
- Flammable, explosive, corrosive, or radioactive materials
- Alcohol, drugs, contraband, narcotics
- Perishable goods, live animals, or pets
- High-value electronics (e.g., phones, laptops, smartwatches)
- Jewellery, precious metals, stones
- Gambling-related materials, hazardous waste
- Official documents (passports, ID cards, bank statements, etc.)
Packers and Movers Services – Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to the Packers and Movers Services offered by Carry Goods Transit, which are rendered in partnership with third-party service vendors. By availing these services, the Customer agrees to be bound by the terms below, along with any other general or specific terms communicated by Carry Goods Transit from time to time.
Definitions
- "Article": Each separate item handled by Carry Goods Transit. Multiple items packed in one carton will be considered a single Article.
- "Customer": The individual or entity contracting with Carry Goods Transit for the Services.
- "Goods": Items to be transported, excluding valuables such as cash, jewellery, legal documents, hazardous materials, narcotics, and other legally prohibited items.
- "Peak Days": Refers to 28th–3rd of any month, weekends, national holidays, and auspicious days.
Rental of Commercial Vehicle Services – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of commercial vehicles provided by Carry Goods Transit to individuals and businesses. By booking or using the rental services, the Customer agrees to these Terms, including any modifications notified by Carry Goods Transit from time to time.
1. Scope of Services
Carry Goods Transit offers on-demand and scheduled rental services of commercial vehicles including, but not limited to, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, light commercial vehicles (LCVs), and heavy commercial vehicles (HCVs) for transportation of goods.
4. Use of Vehicle
The Customer agrees:
- To use the vehicle for lawful transport of goods only.
- To not carry any prohibited or restricted items, including but not limited to hazardous materials, arms/ammunition, flammable substances, cash, valuables, contraband, narcotics, or perishable items unless specifically agreed upon.
- To not overload the vehicle or exceed the declared weight or dimension limit.
Important Legal Notice
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Guwahati, Assam, unless otherwise agreed.
